About Trust

SRI VISWESWAR TRUST

SRI VISWESWAR TRUST is a Public Charitable Trust registered with the Charity Commissioner Office at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

The purpose of the trust is:

  1. To spread the knowledge of philosophy beneficial to mankind of leading philosopher and in particular, the Vedanta School of philosophy and Sanskrit and to train individual to spread the knowledge of such philosophy;
  2. To promote education;
  3. To give relief to the poor and needy in cash or in kind, including feeding the poor and the needy;
  4. To provide medical relief;
  5. To work for the advancement of Indian Culture and literature and undertake publication of books; etc. for the above purpose;
  6. To render service to the country for the benefit of the nation and the advancement of any other object if general public utility or importance as many be decided upon by the Board of Trustees from time to time, etc.

SRI VISWESWAR TRUST is registered with Income Tax department under section 12AB and section 80G. Donations to SRI VISWESWAR TRUST are eligible for deduction under section 80 G as amened from time to time.
