Annapoornopanishad is from Atharvana Veda. Pleased with the Upasana of Rubhu, Goddess Parvati bestows Brahmajnana on him. Rubhu in turn teaches to Nidagha, it answers the five common questions; Is jiva distinct from Isvara? Does the doership etc. belong to atma? Is jiva intrinsically connected to gross, subtle and causal bodies? Is the cause of world changing in nature? Is the world real? it also discusses the topics such as bondage, liberation, vasanas, jivanmukti, samadhi, manonasana, result of Brahmavidya, mode of dhyana, vedanta sampradya etc.
